Mrs. Amy Thaller

Mrs. Thaller is the Physical Education teacher at St. Vincent de Paul and has been an educator in various disciplines since 1999. She grew up in Peoria Heights and attended Eureka College earning her Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education.

Mrs. Thaller came home to the Catholic faith in 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. While keeping students actively engaged in fitness and games she focuses on love, kindness and respecting each other at all times. Mrs. Thaller’s favorite saint is St. Sebastian and her favorite prayer is the Hail Mary. She looks forward to the first Tuesday of each month when we have our all school rosary.

Mrs. Thaller and her husband Tony have 4 beautiful children, Audrey, Iris, Anthony and Anna. When not teaching, Mrs. Thaller serves as a driver and spectator at many after school activities for her children.  Mr. and Mrs. Thaller are actively involved in the local mountain bike community, PAMBA, and together promote 3-4 local races each year. Mrs. Thaller also works as a USA Cycling Official spending time officiating road, mountain and cyclocross bicycle races. In her free time she enjoys cooking from scratch, sewing, making soap and listening to audio books. The library is her favorite place to visit.

“Spread love where ever you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.”
