Mrs. Laurel Hancock

Mrs. Laurel Hancock is a 4th grade teacher at St. Vincent de Paul.  She has been an educator since 1973 when she graduated from Bradley University with a BS in elementary education.  Mrs. Hancock is a long time member of St. Bernard's where she had her first teaching job in 1974.  She taught 1st and 2nd grade for 29 years and was teaching 5-8 grade language arts when the school closed.  She was so blessed to become a 4th grade teacher at SVdP in 2004.

Mrs. Hancock shows her Catholic faith every day in her classroom as she helps her students learn how to live their faith within their classroom, family, and friendships.  Respect for all in actions and deeds are the main goal every year.

Mrs. Hancock has one son Jake and two four legged family members named Eli and Minnie.  In her spare time, Mrs. Hancock enjoys reading and cooking healthy meals for her family.  Mrs. Hancock loves her students and strives every year to have a relationship with each of them and helps them to use their God given abilities and talents to grow spiritually and academically.
