Mrs. Nila Mulvaney

Mrs. Mulvaney grew up on a farm near Bushnell, IL. and graduated from Bushnell-Prairie City High School.  She came to Peoria and graduated from Midstate College.  Mrs. Mulvaney has worked at St. Vincent de Paul School since 1987 doing different jobs.  She started working by being Playground Monitor and now her current duties are Assistant Librarian, Before Care Supervisor and Lunch Room Monitor. 

Mrs. Mulvaney’s favorite saint is St. Kateri Tekakwitha.  She has always had a soft spot in her heart for the Native Americans and enjoys reading about them. 

In her spare time she loves to read Christian books and books about the pioneer days as well as others.  Mrs. Mulvaney is an avid Cubs fan and enjoys watching them on TV.  She also likes to travel to Texas to see her children and grandchildren. 

Mrs. Mulvaney is a convert to the Catholic faith and her faith is very important to her.  She believes to be a good Christian one must lead a disciplined life.
