Food Drive for the Poor in Peoria – collections the week of Sept. 23rd
The feast day of St. Vincent de Paul is Wednesday, September 27th. St. Vincent is the patron saint of our parish and school. He had a deep compassion for the poor, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul continues to serve his mission to help families in need.

In honor of his feast day, please have the students donate non-perishable food items the week of September 23rd for the poor in Peoria. Items that are most appreciated include pasta sauce, canned fruit, canned meat or fish, meal in a can (like chili, beef stew), peanut butter & jelly. Each classroom will have a box to collect these food items and present the items at our prayer service on our feast day. This will be a wonderful example of the importance of serving those in need in our community.

Please join us for a prayer service in honor of our patron, St. Vincent de Paul, on Friday, September 27th at 2:30 PM at our St. Vincent de Paul statue in the front of the school.  Do you already pick up your child from school?  Come just a few minutes earlier and show your child how important it is for you to participate in prayer with us!
