Student Council – Canned Food Drive – December 3rd – 10th
As they do each year, the SVdP Student Council will be putting together Christmas dinner baskets for those less fortunate in our area.  The canned food drive will take place during the first week of December 3rd – 10th.  Turkeys and associated dinner items will be distributed on Wednesday, December 19th.  If you or someone you know could use a food basket, please contact Lorraine at the church office at 691-3609 or loabraham@svdpvikings.com to get on the food basket distribution list.  All information will be kept confidential.

St. Vincent de Paul School Christmas Program –Thurs., Dec. 13th
Our Christmas program for students in Grades K-6 will be Thursday, December 13th at 7:00 PM (instrumental prelude starting at 6:30 PM).  Our students are already practicing their songs for this event!

Instrumental Prelude Info:  As we have done in the past we will offer the opportunity for our students who take music lessons to do an instrumental prelude before the start of our Christmas Program.  Mr. Kline will be asking the students in music class to sign-up to indicate their interest in performing at the prelude.  Please tell your child to let Mr. Kline know or email at mkline@svdpvikings.com before Friday, December 7th.  You have the choice of music selection and the responsibility of making sure your student is ready to perform their solo or duet.  Christmas music is preferred, but other fitting selections would be allowed as well.
