PAROCHIAL SOCCER FALL 2023 

Soccer registration for the Fall 2023 PPSA season has started! We hope you will join us for another fun season of Parochial soccer.
Please read all the information closely, so that all the appropriate forms are completed and returned. You will need to return: 

1. SVdP registration form
2. PPSA waiver
3. PPSA parent concussion form
4. Soccer socks order form (optional)
5. Coach volunteer form (optional) 

 

Registration is open until Friday, May 26^th. Forms and money can be returned to the school or parish office.

TOTUS TUUS - June 18 - 23

The Totus Tuus summer catechetical program is a week-long parish mission for Catholic youth in grades 1-12. It is dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through evangelization, catechesis, Christian worship, and Eucharistic worship.

 

DAY PROGRAM
1st-6th grades
Monday-Friday
9:00am-3:00pm 

 

TEEN PROGRAM
7th-12th grades
Sunday-Thursday
6:30pm-8:15pm 

Cost:
$10 per teen
$30 per child
$50 for two or more
$70 for three or more

Registration forms should be returned to Taylor Huber in the parish office.

 

Adult volunteers are needed for check in/out, kitchen crew, classroom help and other areas. Please complete the volunteer form and return to the parish office.

Diocesan Volunteer Requirements – coaches, room parents, scouts etc.
The diocese has updated their volunteer requirements with a new recording system for the Safe Environment Program (now good for 5 years) and added a COVID-19 Adult Volunteer Waiver form (once signed and returned it is valid for entire school year of volunteering).  

ALL training is done individually online and can be completed on any computer.  Directions for completing #1-4 below are in the attachment entitled, “VOLUNTEER-Safe Environment Training" .  The requirements are:  

1) Safe Environment - complete the online “Safe Environment Training” program (approx. 1 hr.),

2) Safe Driving – if possibly driving students, complete the online “Safe Driving Training” program (approx. 20 min.)

3) Authorization for DCFS check - CANTS - complete a Child Abuse and Neglect Tracking System (CANTS) check form – print, complete, SIGN (actual signature required) and return to school office to be sent to diocese for processing

4) Background Check - complete a Criminal History Background Check – online

*Be sure to bring to SVdP office BEFORE volunteering:

1) printed certificate(s) of completion (Safe Environment and/or Safe Driving),

2) printed, completed and SIGNED CANTS form and

When creating an account to complete the programs, please put your role as school volunteer.
