SAVE-THE-DATE..Parent Ambassador Meeting..Jan. 18, 2018..5:30-7:00 PM
There will be a Parent Ambassador meeting for all families who are present Ambassadors and for those who want to be an Ambassador. The Parent Ambassador program is a program where we rely on the parents to spread the good word about SVdP to the public, publicize our school and parish by wearing the SVdP spirit wear, and to help us with events and/or extracurricular activities. There are sub-teams for publicity, Student Ambassadors, and mentoring programs that we can use help with also. Our goal at the January meeting is to update all of the Parent Ambassadors about what is going on at SVdP so you can get out there and spread the good word about SVdP! Click here for flyer with more information.  Please RSVP to svdpoffice@svdpvikings.com by Wed. Jan. 17th.

SVdP is once again participating in the Scholastic Book Fair's All for Books program. Any student that donates at least $1.00 on Tuesday, January 23rd may have an out-of-uniform day. The classroom that donates the most money wins a comfy clothes day and pizza party. Funds collected from the All for Books program will be used to purchase books for our students. In addition, Scholastic Book Fairs will match our monetary donations with a donation of up to one million books to two non-profit organizations dedicated to helping children, families, and teachers acquire books and educational resources: Kids In Need Foundation and Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. Every dollar we collect puts books into the hands of children.
