2020 Tax Documents -
2020 Tax Documents for Tuition and Before/After Care are ready to be printed off in your FACTS Account.  Hard copies of these documents are not sent home with your students.  In order to print your tax documents please follow the instructions below.  If you are looking for 2020 Church contributions, you will need to contact the parish office to receive that information at svdppeoria@hotmail.com or call 691-3602 x251. 

1. Login to FACTS SIS Parentsweb (formerly called Renweb Parentsweb)

2. Click on “Financial” on the left-hand side

3. Click on “Financial Home” on the right-hand side in the Financial Links box

4. Click on “View Details”

5. Click on “View Payment Summary” (please make sure that “2020” is the year selected)

6. To print off the tax information, click on the print icon at the top right corner

New Volunteer Requirements – coaches, room parents, scouts etc.
The diocese has updated their volunteer requirements with a new recording system for the Safe Environment Program (now good for 5 years) and added a COVID-19 Adult Volunteer Waiver form (once signed and returned it is valid for entire school year of volunteering).  

ALL training is done individually online and can be completed on any computer.  Directions for completing #1-4 below are in the attachment entitled, “VOLUNTEER-Safe Environment Trainingand for completing #5 below is the attachment entitled, “COVID-19 Adult Volunteer Waiver.”  The requirements are:  

1) Safe Environment - complete the online “Safe Environment Training” program (approx. 1 hr.),

2) Safe Driving – if possibly driving students, complete the online “Safe Driving Training” program (approx. 20 min.)

3) Authorization for DCFS check - CANTS - complete a Child Abuse and Neglect Tracking System (CANTS) check form – print, complete, SIGN (actual signature required) and return to school office to be sent to diocese for processing

4) Background Check - complete a Criminal History Background Check – online

5) COVID-19 Adult Volunteer Waiver – complete attachment

 

*Be sure to bring to SVdP office BEFORE volunteering:

1) printed certificate(s) of completion (Safe Environment and/or Safe Driving),

2) printed, completed and SIGNED CANTS form and

3) printed, completed and SIGNED COVID-19 Adult Volunteer Waiver form 

- When creating an account to complete the programs, please put your role as school volunteer.

Did you Know?  Your child can attend a Catholic School – Financial Assistance Available

Tuition assistance scholarship grants from the endowment fund established as a result of the Diocese of Peoria ROOTED IN FAITH Campaign and named in honor of Archbishop Spalding, the first Bishop of Peoria, will be available for the 2020-2021 school year for students enrolled in or intending to enroll in grades Kindergarten through 12 in any Catholic school located in the Diocese of Peoria whose families are active members of a Catholic parish in the diocese.  All grants will be based on financial need objectively assessed. 

Information about the grants and application materials may be obtained from any Catholic elementary or secondary school in the Diocese of Peoria or on the Diocesan website www.cdop.org under Catholic Educationand then under Financial Assistance.  Consult the detailed Protocols and Procedures and Checklist for all requirements necessary to be eligible for an award. 

Parents must apply online at:  online.factsmgt.com/aid.  Families of students currently receiving grants are reminded that all grants are for one year only, and anyone seeking to renew a grant for the 2020-2021 school year must reapply. 

Deadline date for the completed application is April 30, 2021Notification of grant awards will be made by the end of June 2021.    

Another funding opportunity is also available due to the Invest in Kids Act legislation in Illinois.  Students may be eligible for up to 100% of tuition and fees under a new program for tax credit scholarships (TCS).  Details on how to apply and who qualifies are available on the Empower Illinois website at www.empowerillinois.org.  Students who receive a TCS are ineligible to receive a Spalding award.
