St. Vincent de Paul will be hosting a blood drive with Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) in the Parish Hall on Monday, May 20th from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.  MVRBC is new to the Peoria area.  On March 1st, they began providing all blood products to OSF HealthCare System.  MVRBC was founded in 1971 and has been supplying most of the state of Illinois for many years.  By hosting the drive, the school will also receive a Lifesaving grant to be used towards educational supplies!  Our goal for the blood drive is 60 units of blood which will provide a grant valued at over $300!  Plus, when you donate you will help save the life of 3 critically ill patients in the hospital!  When you give blood, you’re changing the world one pint at a time.  You can help change the world one pint at a time when you donate and help out the school.  Your donation will not only help save patients but also help provide the school grant money for educational supplies!  If you are interested in donating you can call 1-800-747-5401 or online at
