Mrs. Kraft, our innovative third-grade teacher, brought guest speaker Dr. Wilson to present to third and fourth graders about various biodiversity science concepts.

State Qualifiers Honored

Our Viking alumni, Ryan Sack, Maeva Holden, and Sophia Barzallo joined current student, Maura Huber, as they were honored for qualifying for the IESA State Golf Meet.

STUDENTS SERVE OVER 600 MEALS AT LOCAL SOUP KITCHEN

Groups of students at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School serve weekly at Sophia’s Angels Kitchen, a local soup kitchen that provides meals to the homeless and low-income community of the Peoria area.

SVdP NAMED A BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL

The first school in the Diocese of Peoria to receive this award, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School was named National Blue Ribbon School in 2010 by the US Department of Education. Recognized as an exemplary high-performing school, St. Vincent’s was one of only 50 private schools and 254 public schools nationwide to receive the honor in 2010.
