Mr. Joe Beaudry teaches middle school social studies and religion. Originally from Davenport, Iowa, he has lived in several places throughout the country. These experiences have given him an appreciation for building strong relationships and fostering welcoming communities wherever he goes.

Mr. Beaudry earned a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Iowa State University before following God’s call to education by earning his Master’s in Education from Grand Canyon University. He brings more than five years of experience in Catholic education, including teaching Physical Education for PreK through 8th grade and serving as a middle school Enrichment teacher at St. Jude Catholic School. He also completed his student teaching at Mossville Junior High School and gained additional classroom experience through practicum placements at Peoria Notre Dame.

Mr. Beaudry strives to create a dynamic classroom where every student feels welcomed, known, and inspired to do their very best each day. He believes meaningful relationships, high expectations, and a love of learning help students discover the gifts God has given them.

His favorite saint is St. Joseph, whose humility, faithfulness, and steadfast leadership continue to inspire him. His favorite prayer is the Our Father because it is the prayer Jesus Himself taught His disciples.

Faith has always been at the center of Mr. Beaudry’s life. He is grateful to his parents for the sacrifices they made to provide him with a Catholic education and a strong spiritual foundation through the sacraments and the life of the Church. Over the years, he has come to appreciate the depth of the Catholic faith, God’s endless mercy, and the many ways the Lord continues to work in our lives. He has learned that placing God at the center of everything brings unexpected blessings, joy, peace, and gratitude. Together with his wife, Katee, he is committed to raising their children in the Catholic faith so they may know Christ’s love and build their lives on the firm foundation of faith. As a teacher, Mr. Beaudry hopes to share that same joy with his students, helping them deepen their relationship with Christ and recognize that He is the rock upon which they can always stand.

When he isn’t at school, Mr. Beaudry enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through coaching, hiking, trail running, triathlons, and camping. He also has a unique hobby of making his own maple syrup each winter and spring – a tradition he enjoys sharing with family and friends.
