Justin Lindsey serves as the Music Teacher at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School and the Music Director for St. Vincent de Paul Parish. Born in Maryland and raised in Peoria, Mr. Lindsey holds two bachelor’s degrees: one in Business Management and the other in Jazz Studies. His extensive musical background and proficiency in a variety of instruments make him uniquely equipped to inspire and guide his students.
Before joining St. Vincent de Paul, Mr. Lindsey taught music at St. Jude Catholic School and St. Mary’s School in Pontiac, Illinois. With a passion for nurturing a love for both God and music, he creates a dynamic and faith-filled learning environment where students can explore their God-given talents.
Mr. Lindsey’s favorite saint is St. Joseph, and his favorite prayer is the Jesus Prayer. His faith journey was profoundly shaped during his college years, where he cultivated a daily prayer life and grew in understanding the truth and beauty of the Catholic Church. It was during this time that he realized Jesus Christ is the ultimate purpose worth giving his life for.
In his free time, Mr. Lindsey enjoys playing the guitar and relaxing with video games. He is passionate about helping students discover the joy of music and the deeper connection it fosters with God.
