Mrs. Babovac (Mrs. Suzie) is a teacher in first grade at St. Vincent de Paul and has been in education since 1991. She is a proud Bulldog, having earned her BA in Elementary Education from Butler University. Mrs. Suzie is a lifelong member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, and is an alumna both of St. Vincent de Paul School and Bergan High School.

Mrs. Suzie exercises her Catholic faith daily in her classroom and works hard helping her students develop a deeper love for Jesus. Her favorite saint is Mother Teresa and Mrs. Suzie loves to pray the rosary.

Mrs. Suzie has been married to her husband Toner since 1994. They have two daughters, Lindsey and Lexi who have both graduated from St. Vincent de Paul School and Peoria Notre Dame. Lindsey attends Butler University and Lexi attends Rutgers University.

When she isn’t teaching, Mrs. Suzie enjoys walking her two Bernese Mountain dogs Sadie and Daisy, doing Body Pump at Golds and cooking. Probably her most favorite thing to do though is take pictures at her daughters’ swim meets.

Mrs. Suzie encourages kindness above all else and strives to make first grade fun and exciting. In 1-2 we are a TEAM because Together Everyone Achieves More.
