Ms. Jenny Campbell is excited to return to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School community, where she began her own educational journey as a student. A lifelong Peoria native, Mrs. Campbell attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School before continuing her education at Peoria Notre Dame. She earned her degree in Elementary Education from Bradley University.
Ms. Campbell brings 15 years of experience in both public and Catholic education, having taught at St. Mark’s Catholic School and Peoria Heights. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to teach students in grades 1 through 8, giving her a broad understanding of the academic and developmental needs of children at every level.
Ms. Campbell believes learning should be joyful and strives to create a classroom environment where students are excited to learn, take risks, and grow. She loves making learning fun while building a classroom culture where every student feels known, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Her favorite saints are St. Joan of Arc and St. Bernadette. St. Joan of Arc holds a special place in her heart as her Confirmation saint because of her courage, faith, and willingness to follow God’s call. Her favorite prayer is the Guardian Angel Prayer, a reminder of God’s constant protection and care.
Faith is the foundation of Ms. Campbell’s life and teaching. She believes that God loves each person unconditionally and invites every one of us into a deeper relationship with Him. She is continually inspired by the truth that God’s mercy is always available, regardless of our mistakes, failures, or struggles. Through her faith, Ms. Campbell strives to model forgiveness, compassion, and respect for every person, creating a classroom where students know they are valued and loved as children created in the image and likeness of God.
Outside of school, Mrs. Campbell enjoys being a soccer mom, cooking, traveling, and sharing her love of all things Harry Potter.
